Stanardsville, Virginia
A county seat at the foot of the Blue Ridge.
Stanardsville has been the seat of Greene County since the county was formed in 1838. Its first lots were surveyed in 1794, and the Greene County Courthouse and the Stanardsville Historic District are among its five National Register sites.
County seats draw offices: attorneys, title work, insurance, accounting and county-facing services. Those offices handle sensitive records and need email, backups and file sharing that are set up properly.
US 33 runs straight from Harrisonburg over the Blue Ridge to Stanardsville, so Webflect's remote-first support comes with scheduled on-site visits by the same road.
